The CustomPages module for FreeScout software adds the capability to create various custom pages within the FreeScout interface. With this module, you can create pages that integrate external content and existing web pages from your company, allowing your employees to access them directly from FreeScout. For instance, you can create a page using curl and incorporate relevant data from your company's existing webpage. Alternatively, you can create a page and embed different instructional videos from YouTube for your employees' training purposes. Essentially, the embedded content is entirely up to you and is only limited by your needs and imagination. With the CustomPages module, you have the flexibility to personalize and enhance your FreeScout experience by tailoring it to meet your specific requirements.
How to install
Download the archive with the module code, upload it to the Modules folder on your FreeScout server and extract it. After that, activate the module in the FreeScout settings.
How to add page
1. Open Manage > Pages in FreeScout and fill in the required information about new page, after that click Save button.
2. Open directory Modules/HostetskiCustomPages/Resources/views/ and copy file template.blade.php to custom folder. Name this file with the same name that you specified in the Page link field when creating the page. The file extension must be .blade.php
Also, instead of creating a view file everytime, you can set the necessary permissions for the custom folder, then the file will be created automatically. You can do it via command chmod 777 /var/www/html/Modules/HostetskiCustomPages/Resources/views/custom(or your path to this folder, if you installed FreeScout not in /var/www/html).
3. After that you can modify this view file as you want. You can use all Blade expressions in this file.
